June 9th

Just eight days later, cucumber!
First Cucumber

Jalapeno

Yellow Squash
I find the yellow squash leaves interesting.  They are big and prickly just like all the other squash leaves, but this plant has bright blue patches within the geometric veins.

June 1st Update

The weather has been beautiful this year for gardening!  Perfect amount of rain here, and the heat has come on slowly.  Here's a picture update for June 1st.

Cucumber
Yellow Squash, and Butternut are on their way to fruiting.  Cucumbers are heavy with flowers.

Butternut Squash
Hot Banana Pepper
Basil plants from last weekend are taking off, as well as the hot banana peppers and jalapenos.

The tomatoes are growing big.  Thankfully Erin and John got the trellises in last week, they would be toppling over in just one week's worth of growth.  And...we've got tomatoes!

Parsley

Corn
Beans

Sungold Cherry Tomatoes
Lillian and I thinned the lettuce for the second time today.  French Sorrel was ready to pick from.  There is enough of the greens to share already, now we just need a party-night.

Lettuce Thinnings

I am in complete awe every year when the garden grows!
